Mission Chardi-Kala is a global movement launched by the Government of Punjab to garner support for rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts for the victims of the devastating 2025 Punjab floods, the worst that Punjab has seen in 40 years. More than 20 lakh people across 2,300 villages in 23 districts have been affected. Preliminary estimates suggest that the total damage that Punjab has suffered is a staggering Rs 13,800 crore. The Rangla Punjab Society, registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, is a Government of Punjab initiative under the Department of Finance established to mobilize global support and serve as the bridge connecting Punjab’s urgent needs with the generosity of our people. You can log onto https://rangla.punjab.gov.in/ and choose the option for Indian citizens. Once you fill in the necessary details, click on Donate. This will take you to the secure payment gateway, where you can choose to pay through net banking, credit/debit card, and UPI. Please ensure to download the receipt after this.

You can also pay through cheque/DD, bank transfers, and direct UPI payments.

  • Kindly note that receipts CANNOT be generated for direct UPI transactions, i.e., by scanning the QR code on our website. If you want a receipt, please proceed by filling in necessary details and clicking on ‘Donate’. UPI transactions have a payment limit of amounts less than INR 2,00,000 only, and success rates are fluctuating for amounts greater than INR 75,000.

All contributions to Mission Chardi Kala shall be received under Chief Minister Rangla Punjab Fund and are exempted under Section 80(G) of the Income Tax Act, 1961. For tax exemptions, Indian citizens are advised to fill in their PAN details while donating and download the auto-generated receipt as a record of donation.

Yes, corporate organizations and institutions can also contribute. Donations shall also be eligible for CSR expenditure under Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013. There is no minimum or maximum cap. All donations shall be utilized solely for providing relief and rehabilitation to flood affected victims.

Yes, we can accept donations from NRIs and foreign citizens. All foreign contributions made to the Rangla Punjab Society are exempted under Section 50 of The Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010.

Please click on https://rangla.punjab.gov.in/download-receipt/ to enter your details and download your receipt. If you are still unable to find it, please contact our helpline for assistance. For receipts of cheque/DD or direct transfer, please email the payment proof to “ranglapunjabsociety2025@gmail.com” . The payment receipt will be issued after the payment is confirmed.

In most cases, confirmation may be delayed due to network issues or time taken by banks to process the transaction. If you do not receive a confirmation within 24 hours, please contact our helpline with your transaction details.

You are requested to check your network and try again. If the problem persists, you can send an email with a screenshot of the error. You may also contact our support team through our helpline for any website-related issues.

The Rangla Punjab Society is committed to full transparency. Funds will be channeled to the impacted districts, and government orders will be issued detailing how the funds are being used for specific projects. This information will be regularly updated on our website. For the most effective and swift response to the crisis, all donations are consolidated into a single fund. This allows us to allocate resources to the most critical needs as they arise.

The donations received by the Chief Minister Rangla Punjab Fund under Rangla Punjab Society will primarily be used for reconstructing damaged roads, mandis, drainage and canals works; rebuilding villages as part of rural development; repairing schools, colleges, healthcare centres, hospitals, administrative buildings, and veterinary institutions; assisting farmers with compensations for damaged crops and lost animals; reviving power in affected areas; and miscellaneous reasons across education, food supplies, water supply & sanitation, forest & wildlife among others.
